A newly constructed bridge in Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality, now it is easy for trekker’s to complete Trekking in Everest region by road. The new bridge made on Bhok Khola (river) connects Dudh Koshi to Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Municipality.
Now trekkers can reach Lukla on foot from Salleri which is 37 Kms from Lukla. The new bridge is the 1st motorable bridge in dudh koshi. The bridge connecting Mapya Dudh Koshi rural municipality with Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality will not only make the trekking easier and shorter, it also help to boost local economy.
Lukla is a gateway to some of the most famous trekking trials like Everest Base Camp, 3 High Pass Trek in Everest to name few.
